# Plants

Plants are of two types, Primal and Cultivation.

Primal plants are the basic plants that are only used for breeding and do not drop anything.

Cultivation plants are not only used for [breeding](/cultivation/overview/crop-breeding.md), but they also are harvestable for various drops.

Cross breeding plants give different plants.

Out of all the primal plants, Wealth and Spectrum must be obtained by breeding, and others are dropped from various mobs (refer your Slimefun guide).
